Born in Dover, Michelle lived in Wharton and Dover her whole life and took her First Holy Communion at St. Mary's Catholic Church, her obituary says.
Michelle spent her childhood participating in gymnastics, girl scouts, soccer, skating, cheerleading, band, and bowling. She also played baseball with the Wharton Fire Department little league team.
She graduated with a cosmetology license and degree from Morris Hills High School in 1992 and was proud to be the Secretary of VICA club (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America).
Michelle spent more than two decades pursuing her cosmetology career with complete passion at various Morris County salons, including Gentry Salons, ProHaircutters, Attitudes, Sports Clips, Cutting Crew, and Sportsmens.
“Her extensive knowledge, expertise and creativity earned her a faithful following of clientele with whom she developed strong bonds throughout her career,” reads her obituary. “She was a good story-teller and a great listener, catering to customers of all ages.”
Michelle will be forever remembered for her “firecracker personality,” her generosity, and her sense of humor. She loved experiencing life to the fullest by dancing, trying new things, making others laugh, and being the “life of the party,” loved ones say.
Michelle’s surviving family members include her father, Michael Boise; mother, Estelle Savage; brother, Michael Boise; brother, Mark Boise (Angela); sister, Marie Boise; brother, Gary Savage; nephews, Matthew, Jordan, Kristian, Eric, Nicky; and great-niece Gianna.

Funeral services were being held privately.
